Drafting is also capable of producing drawings for illustrative purposes,
whether they be for presentations, for use in a tendering proposal, to be used
as a prelude to council submission, or simply for your own record and perusal.
3D drawings make it much easier for you and your client to visualize the
finished product. They are now an integral part of most council submissions for
projects that are large enough to impact on the surrounding neighbourhood and
environment.
With the rapid progression and improvement of both CAD programs and photo
quality printers, 3D rendered images are becoming more and more popular as stand
alone illustrations. Before these improvements were made to both software and
hardware, the 'blocky' distorted style of 3D images that CAD programs produced
made it necessary to soften the illustration by adding features from external
sources. This is no longer necessary, and the continual development of these
features have allowed us at DOC Drafting to improve our own skills in the 3D
conceptual and illustrative fields of CAD drafting at a much quicker rate then
before.
