Detailing

DOC Drafting has extensive experience in the detailing and design of steel portal framed buildings, as well as the detailing and ordering of cold rolled Cee and Zed purlins. Detailing is essentially the process of producing all working drawings of all components for a building to be manufactured, as well as producing bills of materials lists so that the building can be ordered..
We can assist with the specification of materials at the conceptual stage. The decision on what materials will best suit your finished project, and your budget, can be daunting as this is where both unprofitable and ugly buildings can grow from. We'll source as much information for you as possible to help you decide what is the most appropriate way for to go with your project.
We can also produce the material and labour takeoffs you'll need to help you decide on how you'll construct your project. These takeoffs are also vital on deciding if a project is viable in it's current form, can be used for tender and contractual purposes, and are used as a guide in the detailing and ordering processes later on.
Doc Drafting's vast experience in the detailing and ordering of modular and portal framed buildings has given the us the experience and training needed to be able to confidently perform the task of assisting you in ordering the materials required for your project, no matter what it involves.
